If you’ve never had a Porter Peach from the Livesay Orchard Farm, then you’ve been missing out! Porter is known as the “Official Peach Capital of Oklahoma” because they have the best peaches in the state. It’s worth taking a day trip to this delightful peach farm to explore the grounds and eat the fresh fruit. It’s peach season right now, so head to Porter and buy a bushel or pick-your-own right from the tree.
Peaches have been an important part of Porter's history over the last century. Livesay Orchard Farms has been a family-owned farm for several generations and is located at 39232 231st Street South in Porter.
But that's not all they have! Head a few miles down the road and you'll find their bakery and fruits and vegetable store filled with peach goodies, fresh peaches and apples, homemade gifts, and much more.
One of the biggest events in Porter is the annual Porter Peach Festival. The 2018 dates are July 19 - 21, so mark your calendars to attend this beloved small town festival.
The Bakery & Store is located on the corner of Highway 69 & 51b in Porter…just look for a red barn and the smell of peaches and you’ll know you’ve arrived.
