After several years of sitting idle, the old “Queen” is back in all her glory on the gorgeous Grand Lake in northeastern Oklahoma. The Grand Lake Queen is a beloved paddlewheel boat that’s been fully restored and will take you on a sightseeing cruise around the lake. It’s one of the coolest attractions in the state to visit this season and tickets are now available for purchase.

The Grand Lake Queen was formerly the Cherokee Queen that's been part of Grand Lake for over 30 years. Its inaugural run was June 15 and you'll want to catch a ride on this epic excursion while it's open for the season.

The sightseeing tour lasts 1 and 1/2 hours and takes you by Har-Ber Village, Sailboat Bridge, Patricia Island Estates, and along the shores of Grand Lake.

The upper deck is a great spot to sit and enjoy the fresh air and views. It's right above the paddleboat so you can also see the water spin up as you cruise along. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase and this deck is a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the scenery.

Inside the boat there is more seating and the trip is narrated so you'll learn all about the area. The boat leaves from Sail Boat Bridge in Grove and rides throughout the Grand Lake waterways before returning back to dock.

Har-Ber Village (one of the places you’ll pass on the cruise) is a quaint village that will take you back to the mid-1800s. This pioneer-era village features nearly 100 exhibits and is home to six acres filled with nature trails, scenic views, and reproductions that will take you back in time.
