Oklahoma is rich in Native American history and culture, but it’s not very easy to find traditional Native American food in the state besides Indian tacos. That is until now. NATV Restaurant is a farm-to-table restaurant focused on serving modern Native American cuisine to Oklahomans. It opened this year in Broken Arrow, and they already have dozen of raving reviews. Bringing modern Native American cuisine to the forefront and back to Oklahoma roots, you don’t want to miss a meal here.
NATV Restaurant is located on Main Street in Broken Arrow. They opened in April 2022 and Oklahomans are loving it.
The vibe is modern and clean. It's a smaller restaurant but very inviting and enjoyable. You'll find colorful artwork on the walls and wood tables throughout the dining space.
On the menu, you won't find Indian tacos. Instead, you'll indigenous dishes and flavors. Helmed by Jacque Siegfried, whose father taught her how to cook, Siegfried became more curious over the years about her own Native American culture.
Siegfried says that by opening her place and reconnecting with her indigenous roots, she can also connect with people, too. This cuisine boasts earthy flavors and of course, they serve fry bread. Pictured here is a seared filet with a Wojapi sauce. Doesn't it look divine?
We love the earthy, modern touches around this place. They also have some merchandise you can purchase that will help support this Oklahoma restaurant and help spread the word.
