Little Baldy Trail is a short and sweet hike in Oklahoma that offers some spectacular views. It’s less than a mile long, measuring in at about 0.8 miles. It’s also fairly flat, making it the perfect option for people who want to see great sights while taking it easy.
The trail is located in the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, which is the oldest managed wildlife refuge in the United States. It dates back to 1901.
There is a small amount of climbing at the end in order to get the best view, but it isn’t anything too challenging. The entire trail is marked easy to moderate.
It allows for flexibility while maintaining the goal of reaching trail's top point.
The sunset views are amazing from Little Baldy. Brilliant shades of orange and yellow illuminate the rock and create a glow in the area that can’t be missed.
