No summer is complete without a trip to Josh’s Sno Cone Shack in Oklahoma. They are known as having the best shaved ice in the state, and during the summer it’s hard to find a stand without a line. Kids of all ages flock to this place to indulge in this summer delight. Check them out below for more details.
Josh's Sno Shack opened in 2005 with one location and has since grown to 13 locations in the Sooner State.
All 13 locations are located in the Tulsa metro area, and if you drive by one during prime hours, chances are you'll have to wait in line. Kids line up in the summer for this delicious ice cold treat and once you taste them, you'll see why.
The sno cones come in multiple sizes and flavors. They offer more than two dozen flavors that you can only find at Josh's and one of my favorites is Peachy King — a mix of peach and piña colada.
Josh's is also known for very friendly and upbeat service. In all the times I've visited, the staff always had a smile on their face and made conversation with the customers.
They are open seasonally from April — October during select hours, seven days a week. If you have a special event and would like to Josh's to cater, check out their website below for more details.
91st and Memorial Address: Northwest corner of the intersection, next to Chicken Express. Click here to view all the locations and hours.
There’s an authentic old-fashioned ice cream parlor in Oklahoma City that’s as charming as can be, and you’ll want to visit the next time you’re craving a scrumptious sundae. What’s so special about them? For starters, they are made with homemade ice cream from a secret recipe that was created in the early 1900s, then topped with syrups and toppings that will make your taste buds go crazy. Click here to check them out.
