If you love animals, then you probably love to get up close and personal with them. Here’s a pretty little petting zoo that’s also a wildlife rehabilitation facility, and it offers the public the opportunity to get to know a wide range of animals, both domestic and wild.
Hochatown Petting Zoo is both a petting zoo and a wildlife rehabilitation facility that allows the public to visit and learn about the animals in its care. You'll find it at 9177 US 259 N. Hochatown, OK 74728.
Many of the animals here, like this tiny baby squirrel, were orphaned or injured in the wild. They'll be rehabilitated, then released back into the wild once they're able to fend for themselves.
Get plenty of hands-on petting at this little petting zoo. Admission is just $8 for adults; $5 for children three and older, free for kids two and younger.
