The Chickasaw National Recreation Area has been described as an oasis in the Oklahoma prairie. It's not only full of hiking opportunities, but it boasts natural beauty and mineral springs that attract visitors from all over the country.
It features a river along the path and is rated as moderate. There's a good amount of shade on this trail during summer, so it's the perfect hike during the hotter months.
