Do you love hometown restaurants with classic service that makes you feel like family? Thankfully, Oklahoma has that in spades. Since the 1970s, Hammett House has been serving up amazing dishes from fried chicken to classic soup recipes. Don’t forget the pie!
Welcome to Hammett House Restaurant, a little cafe in Claremore, Oklahoma that will draw you in with wonderful smells and keep you with amazing service.
Everything from the original 1970 "Skinny Soup" to the current menu is made with love and care, and plenty of tradition. Why change what is already perfect? Chicken fried steak can't get much better than it has already.
Between the fried onions and the fried chicken, there's not much around here that isn't delicious. If you've got the "pink stuff" on your plate, you're bound to have a delicious time.
Since 1969, homemade hot 'mashed potato' rolls and salad dressings have been treating every customer to homemade food with a small town service you can't pass up. When the food and service are both this good, it's hard not to be a return customer.
As with any great little cafe, make sure that pie is ordered before or during your meal, otherwise it might be gone before you're ready! The meringue on this pie is high, but the demand for a slice is even higher.
