If you’ve been craving a delicious piece of pie, there’s a historic restaurant in Claremore that’s a pie haven. They’ve been serving homemade pies and food since 1969 and it’s so good, it will blow your taste buds away. Keep reading to get all the details.

After almost 20 years of dreaming and planning by Mrs. Hammett, The Hammett House opened its doors in 1969. It was then purchased in 1991 by current owners, Bill and Linda Biard, who have continued to make this historic eatery a place you'll want to visit.

They are located at 1616 West Will Rogers Boulevard in Claremore. The interior has recently been remodeled with updated decor and their relaxing atmosphere will keep you coming back.

Everything they serve is so delicious but they are famous for their pies. Just look at this mammoth-sized dessert!

They serve three famous signature pies and they even include the recipes on the placemats.

It's strawberry season, so stop in and get a piece of strawberry pie or shortcake...it's worth the drive.

As they say at the Hammett House, "Life is Uncertain; Eat Dessert First!"

They make the pies fresh every morning in their bakery.

And after just one bite, you'll be hooked for life. It's no wonder this place is famous for these little slices of heaven.

OMG...you have to try one of my favorites - The Sizzlin' Apple Delight - homemade apple pie with ice cream & hot brandy-butter sauce served in a sizzlin' skillet.

There are over a dozen pie flavors to choose from, including sugar free ones.

Plus, you'll find their food is as close to home cookin' as you can get. They've been voted a "Top 10 AAA Rated Comfort Food Restaurant In America."

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday – Saturday: 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Closed on Mondays
