Enjoy The Great Outdoors This Summer At Grand Lake State Park In Oklahoma

This summer, head to northeastern Oklahoma to Grand Lake State Park, home to the beautiful Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees. This stunning state park has several different areas within it, offering camping, boating, fishing, hiking, and much more. Keep scrolling to see some of what you’ll find in this popular state park.
Grand Lake is located in northeastern Oklahoma and offers over 45,000 surface acres and 1,300 miles of shoreline. It's one of the largest lakes in the state and also one of the most beautiful.
There are plenty of outdoor activities available at Grand Lake, including fishing, hiking, camping, boating, and more. If you love the outdoors, you will fall in love with Grand Lake.
One area you'll want to check out is the Honey Creek Area of Grand Lake State Park - located on the northern end of Grand Lake. Here, you'll find 38 acres with 49 RV sites and 100 tent sites, plus lots of outdoor recreation.
The lakeside campgrounds are one of my favorite things in the park. You can pull right up to the shoreline and pitch your tent or park the RV in the most beautiful setting.
Another area to visit is The Little Blue Area at Grand Lake State Park - home to a small creek and lots of camping spots. Visitors will find shallow, crystal-clear waters, great for families with small children, as well as 30 primitive tent camping spots.
Bernice Area at Grand Lake State Park is located on the northwestern corner of the lake and is known as the "Crappie Capital of the World." This park is perfect for the avid fishermen, as it offers fishing for largemouth bass, sunfish, white bass, channel catfish, and bluegill.
You'll also find lots of marinas at Grand Lake that rent boats and other water toys. You could spend the whole day on the water and have plenty to do without ever touching land.
You could spend days and days at Grand Lake State Park and still not get to explore everything. It’s a beautiful place for a summer vacation in Oklahoma.
