If you enjoy adventurous hikes, then you don’t want to miss the Full Moon Night Hike coming up in a few weeks at Roman Nose State Park. The hike takes place after dark and will take you to the top of Inspiration Point and it’s one of the coolest hiking experiences in the state. Keep reading below for all the details.

Roman Nose State Park is one of the original seven state parks in Oklahoma. It's located in Watonga, just 70 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. It sits in the middle of a beautiful canyon and is surrounded by gypsum rock cliffs.

One of the coolest events they host every year is the Full Moon Night Hike. The next one will take place on March 7, 2020 and is open to everyone that can handle an intermediate level hiking trail.

The adventure is a 4-mile hike to the top of Inspiration Point - all in the dark. Meet at the Roman Nose State Park Lodge about 30 minutes to 1 hour before dusk.
