It’s hard to believe we are already talking about the Fourth of July but it’s only a few weeks away, which means it’s time to start planning for this fun holiday. Stars & Stripes River Festival is one of the best patriotic festivals in the state for the whole family to enjoy. The celebration takes place at the end of June at Riversport OKC with a full day of activities, followed by a night of fireworks.

The 8th annual Stars & Stripes River Festival will take place at Riversport OKC on June 29, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This all day event combines on-the-water races with off-the-water games, food, and fun.

The day starts with a 500m kayak race for all skill levels, then followed by a 5K run and a Regatta and PaddleFest Dragon Boat Festival.

Riversport Adventures OKC is a fun place to visit during the spring and summer. They have one of the greatest outdoor jungle gyms – or as they call it at Riversport OKC – The SandRidge Sky Trail. It’s the tallest adventure course of its kind in the world and we are lucky enough to have it in the Sooner State.
