Hot air balloons will be soaring this August at the FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival in Shawnee. If you’re looking for a fun, family activity this summer, you’ll want to check out this festival that’s filled with much more than just balloons.
The 2021 FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival will take place August 13-14 on the grounds of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, just 30 minutes East of OKC in Shawnee.
Passengers can also take to the sky in one of the balloons. Baskets can hold 2-4 passengers, depending on size. The ride takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the wind.
This festival also has several concerts scheduled that you won't want to miss. It doesn't get much better than balloons, food, live music, and family-friendly fun!
