Oklahoma has some of the most incredible natural attractions of any nearby state. And, when times are hard, getting outside to enjoy them can be a (literal) breath of fresh air. There are a lot of ways to do this, from simply strolling through our own neighborhoods to visiting the more popular state park, but these days we’ve been trying to find new options. This trail is longer than most that we feature here, but it’s so worth it if you’re looking for a fun way to challenge yourself.
The Bison Trail is located within Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge. You can learn more about the refuge here and see more about the trail by visiting alltrails.com. What’s your favorite, more challenging, hike here in Oklahoma? Head over to Facebook to let us know!
