In the summer of 1928, construction on a new school building commenced, at a staggering cost of $25,000. This new facility marked the birth of an accredited high school, boasting four rooms in a single-story brick structure.
In its inaugural year, the school catered to a mere 13 high school students, but by 1935, the enrollment had skyrocketed to 119 and was steadily climbing. Wolf School quickly became one of the largest independent school districts in the state.
