Oklahoma’s newest educational playground, Liichokoshkomo, is located at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and is now open to visitors. This authentic look at Native American life is a great way to have fun with family and friends, while also learning about their treasured past. This is a highly interactive exhibit that allows you to become fully immersed in what Native life was like. Keep scrolling to learn more.
The first thing you notice as you step on the grounds is how "life-like" everything is. The playground is a project of the Annie Oakley Society who's mission is teach the rich history of the American West for generations to come.
Learning can and should be fun and when you're here it is. There truly is something for everyone here. There is over 100,000 square feet dedicated to learning and fun, so this is no ordinary playground.
As you enter the teepee you will feel like you have stepped back in time hundreds of years, to a simpler time. It's quite an experience we think you'll want to see for yourself.
