If heading to Durant isn’t in your upcoming plans, then you’re missing out on a fun-filled weekend. The 2019 Magnolia Festival is a 3-day indoor/outdoor festival at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant that’s filled with vendors, games, entertainment, a carnival, food, and more. It’s already started, so clear your schedule to attend this marvelous festival.
The 2019 Magnolia Festival takes place May 30 to June 1 in Durant: The City of Magnolias. This fun event has been held annually since 1997 and continues to be a popular festival in the Sooner State.
Outdoors, there is a carnival with games, rides, and fun for the whole family. The carnival is open all 3 days and wristbands can be purchased at the event.
Step back inside and shop for many high-quality items and handmade goods. Vendors from Texas and Oklahoma fill the Choctaw Event Center and it's so fun to browse all the booths.
One of the events during the festival is the Texoma Arts Association Art Show & Sale on May 31 & June 1. Visitors can purchase paintings, wood sculptures and other art pieces or just enjoy artists creating their masterpieces.
On Saturday, June 1, there are many children's activities scheduled, including a Turtle Race at 1:30 pm. From 12 to 4:30 p.m. there are activity stations set up indoors for kids that are free of charge.
