Have you ever visited a place and thought that it felt haunted, but weren’t able to prove it? Well, if that place was an old WWII airfield in Frederick, Oklahoma, then you’ll want to take a look at this investigation from Society of the Haunted. They discovered a ghost from a navigator of an old plane on the airfield, and it’s as creepy as it sounds. Read on to find out more about this haunted location that’s swarming with paranormal activity.
The Frederick Army Air Field was built in 1943 and became the newest advanced flying school in the Central Flying Training Center during WWII.
The pilots that trained there went on to fly many battles during the war. Today, only two of those buildings remain and are occupied by the World War II Airborne Demonstration Team.
After receiving several reports of the facility being haunted, the Society of the Haunted decided to take a visit to Frederick, Oklahoma, to check it out.
During their investigation they always felt like there was something (or someone) in their shadows, and distant voices were detected but indiscernable.
They were able to board one of the C47's in the hangar that saw action during the war and conduct an EVP session and a K2 electromagnetic field meter reading.
It was extremely quiet on the readings until the paranormal investigator starting revealing that he was in the Air Force for six years. The K2 meter took an immediate jump up to an extremely high reading.
