Just like the song says, “it’s the most wonderful time of the year” and we have found one of the best places to celebrate the Christmas season: the Castle of Muskogee. The Castle of Muskogee celebrates holidays all year-long but our favorite is Christmas. We think you will want to visit Santa, ride the ponies, ride the train, or pick up a gift for your loved ones. And new this year, you can drive through Castleton Village for free! Check the pictures out below to see all that this amazing Christmas Castle has to offer, then load up the car and experience it in person.
Once you arrive at the castle you will immediately feel like you have been transported back in time to the land of a fairy tale. This year, you don't even have to get out of your car. You can enjoy it from the comfort of your own car. It's open nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. until New Year's Eve.
Especially the lighted train rides. It's a magical holiday experience the whole family can enjoy, so bundle up and take a ride around the village. These additional activities are priced per attraction, so it's very affordable.
Another fun one to try is making a wax mold of your hands or make your own customized handmade candle. We suggest you try these very unique and fun experiences if you decide to venture out of your car.
Make sure you are on the nice list and not the naughty list, as Santa will of course be making an appearance at the Castle. It might look a little different this year due to social distancing, but nothing can beat getting to meet Santa.
If you have not completed your Christmas shopping yet, don't worry, the Castle gift shop is the perfect place to shop for that person on your list that is impossible to shop for.
