Happy Hump Day! Did you know there’s a working farm in Oklahoma where you can spend the day with adorable camels? Head to the town of Perry to Passow’s Camel Farm and you’ll find a variety of exotic animals, including camels roaming the land.
Take a look:
Are you a sucker for furry kids? If so, head to Passow's Camel Farm to see a variety of exotic animals on this working farm. It's located at 25601 County Rd 150 in Perry, just northeast of Stillwater.
Visitors can enjoy the company of camels and see them interact in their own habitat. They are such unique creatures to watch...it's a blast to see them show-off their personality.
There's not much around the farm...you won't even see a sign welcoming you. But you will find over 1,200 acres of grassland in the middle of nowhere with these beautiful animals roaming around.
You can visit the farm by appointment only. It's such a beautiful, non-commercial place to visit. You park at the owner's home, then take a golf cart (or car) out on the property to view the animals.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Oklahoma’s countryside and see these lovely animals in person. For more information, click here.
Another place you’ll want to visit is the Endangered Ark Foundation in Hugo – a one-of-a-kind elephant ranch that is home to the second largest herd of Asian elephants in America. If you’ve always wanted a closer look at these endangered species, head to southern Oklahoma for this unforgettable experience.
