A great way to celebrate the arrival of spring is to attend Lake Texoma’s Burning of the Socks and Switch to Flip Flops around the lake. On March 13, everyone is invited to various marinas around Lake Texoma to take part in a wide range of celebratory activities. What a great way to usher in warm spring weather with cookout meals, live music, and golf cart parades. The adventurous types can take part in the polar bear plunge at the lake before warming up by the bonfire. Ultimately, everyone ends up fireside to burn their socks and put on their flip-flops for the upcoming summer season.

There are events for people of all ages...from kids to grandparents and everyone in between. Lake Texoma is a perfect place to celebrate.
