Baker's Pizza Joint In The Middle Of Nowhere Is One Of The Best In Oklahoma

If you’re willing to drive the extra mile to get a slice of the best pizza in the state (and possibly the nation), head south of Norman to the middle of nowhere where you’ll find Baker’s Pizza joint in the town of Maysville. The pizza is seriously amazing and fans drive from all over the state to get their hands on it. Check out their custom-made pizzas that will put your tastebuds in a frenzy.

The town of Maysville is located about 15 miles south of Purcell, just off OK-74 South. With a population of just over 1200, there's not a whole lot going on in town, except possibly the best pizza in the nation.

Baker's Pizza is a family-owned restaurant located at 501 Ash Street. Look for the free standing building with an airplane's tail sticking out from the top of it.

The rustic/industrial vibe is very inviting and the size is large enough to hold a good crowd at chow time.

There's an interesting mural on the wall you'll need to ask the owners about when visiting. All of the pizzas can be ordered to go or sit down and enjoy the great service from Baker's.

The pizza is all custom-made and is priced very well. A large one topping pizza will run you about $12.

You can order your pizza just the way you like it. Ham and pineapple lovers they have you covered too!

Or try the Chicken Alfredo Pizza made with their signature homemade Alfredo sauce. And while you're at it, add some spinach and mushrooms like this one.

The pizza is fully rolled out then layered with sauce, cheese, and toppings.

Size options include Small, Medium, Large, and XL. Plus, they have a variety of specialty pizzas for those looking to jazz up their pies.

Take the drive and visit Baker's Monday - Friday from 4:00 - 11:00 p.m. or Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
