As the first state capital of Oklahoma, Guthrie is a one-of-a-kind city loaded with fascinating history. As you walk the streets, you are surrounded by gorgeous architecture, charm, personality, and most of all, historical places. Downtown has several businesses and buildings that have been around for more than a century, and you’ll want to see them all!
Here’s a look at the ancient town everyone should visit.
Doesn’t Guthrie look so charming? If you’ve never visited, I highly recommend taking an overnight trip and staying in one of the B&B’s in town. While in Guthrie, make sure to stop in and check out this old drugstore that’s been open since 1953…it’s so adorable!
