For a delicious home cooked meal, head to Dutch Pantry in Chouteau and enjoy their all-you-can-eat Amish buffet. It’s a no-frill, laid-back buffet joint that’s perfect for big appetites and hungry travelers. They’ve been serving their Amish specialties since 1986 and it’s everything you’ve dreamed of.
Take a look:
Dutch Pantry is open six days a week (closed on Sundays) and is located at 10 West Main Street in Chouteau.
This small town eatery is a local favorite for residents and travelers passing by on the nearby highway. It's the kind of place that's reliable for its great food and warm hospitality. The dining room isn't too large but it gets the job done.
From mashed potatoes and gravy to chicken fried steak, you can usually find it on the buffet. The menu rotates, so there's a variety of menu items on select nights. Many locals say their favorite is catfish and meatloaf Friday.
The only thing on the menu is the country buffet, so bring your appetite because there is more than enough food to fill you up for days. The rolls are made in the back room and are heavenly.
And the dessert bar has almost as many options as the main course! Freshly baked pies line the buffet with rotating flavors that include chocolate, apple, pecan, peach, and blackberry.
Okay, who else is hungry now? For more information on Dutch Pantry, check out their Facebook page.
