The Buckeye State is home to all sorts of unique museums and quirky attractions that showcase fond memories of yesteryear. (Be sure to check out this carousel museum.) The Wyandot Popcorn Museum in Marion pays tribute to one of everyone’s favorite snacks. Here, you’ll learn all about the history of this iconic treat and get to observe some rare antiques you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
Housed in a former Post Office building and the current Marion Heritage Museum, the Wyandot Popcorn Museum is a hidden gem for those who enjoy quirky history.
You can visit Wednesday - Sunday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. in May - October. Winter hours are Saturday - Sunday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. in November, December, March and April.

Please note: The Wyandot Popcorn Museum is closed in January and February and on holidays.

The historic popcorn wagons and peanut roasters are especially fascinating to see. Many are a century-old and all have been restored to their original condition.
Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children 6 - 17 years old. Tickets also include admission to the rest of the Marion Heritage Museum. For more information, click here.
