If you’ve ever heard of an elusive “Corkscrew Falls” hiding in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio, you should know that it does in fact exist—but it goes by a different name and it’s only accessible after you’ve obtained a permit. Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve is home to this wondrous waterfall that once existed on private property, tucked away from the public eye. Today, lucky Ohio explores can view this stunning natural wonder. Here’s how:
Hidden in a beautiful nature preserve, this stunning waterfall is now open to the public via permit access.
Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve protects a fragile ecosystem with amazing variety. Within this one nature preserve you'll encounter river banks, wooded hills, ridges and open fields.

From a distance, you might not notice the corkscrew flow of these 10-foot falls, but the closer you get to the falls along the stream bank, the more you'll see it—especially after heavy rainfall.
Please note: Swimming, climbing on rocks and wading in the stream below the falls is prohibited.
Both Hollow State Nature Preserve is located at 7000 Beech Camp Rd., Logan, OH 43138. Have you ever been here before? If so, did you get to see Robinson Falls? Share your photos and experiences with us!
