Are there many lazy rivers for tubing in Ohio?

Yes! The Buckeye State is positively teeming with beautiful bodies of water, with our rivers extra resplendent and inviting. On a hot summer day, there's nothing better than tubing in Ohio; and, in addition to the amazing tubing on the Great Miami River (see above!), the Little Miami River also offers amazing opportunities for water recreation. Don't let its diminutive title fool you, either -- the Little Miami is 111 miles of pure Midwest splendor (by comparison, the Great Miami River is 170 miles long). This list has some of our favorite places for tubing in Ohio; in addition to the Little Miami River and Great Miami River, tubing enthusiasts should head to the southeast part of the state to Hocking Hills. Many people opt for kayak or canoe rentals along the Hocking River, but we've got a soft spot for tubing. Hocking Hills Adventures offers up kayaks, canoes, and tubing, so there's something for everyone here. Various trips are available, lasting anywhere from two to five hours. The outfitter is typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, depending on weather and water conditions. While you're there, stay and do some waterfall chasing, too!
