There are lots of impressive breweries in Ohio. But when you really want to spend time in the great outdoors, we’d recommend heading to Twin Oast Brewing, a delightful waterfront brewery in Ohio. Nestled on a family-run 60-acre orchard in Port Clinton, this brewpub feels hyperlocal yet also a place that will make you feel at home no matter where you’re traveling from. Here’s more on why Twin Oast Brewery belongs on your warm-weather bucket list.
Welcome to Twin Oast Brewery! Nestled on the shores of Lake Erie, this special brewery is a must-try destination.
Twin Oast is named after the unique structures known as oasts, which are integral to the brewing process. These buildings are specially designed to dry the hops, a process known as kilning.
As stated on the Twin Oast Brewing website, "Oast Houses are the inspiration behind our brewery. Oasts draw a perfect connection between traditional farming and brewing cultures. The beers we offer are reminiscent of what would be found being consumed by workers of Oast Houses. Our building is designed to keep the rustic roots that Oast Houses were built on."
