If you’re a garden or nature enthusiast, you’re likely familiar with the annual Zoo Bloom at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. Although the zoo is currently closed due to COVID-19, Zoo Blooms will feature a virtual tour of the gardens and the sea of colorful tulips we all know and love. All you need to do to attend this year’s event is mark your calendars, check your WiFi connection and sit back and enjoy the view.
This time of year, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is usually bustling with activity as families flock to the zoo for some sunshine and fun with the animals.
Please note: The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is currently closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 until further notice.
The month-long celebration of Zoo Blooms is a beloved event for locals and zoo members. And if you typically don't visit the zoo in April, the colorful blooms pleasantly surprise you.
This year, Zoo Blooms will feature a virtual tour via Facebook on Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m. Even if you won't have the chance to smell these beauties, you can partake in a free tour from the comfort of your home.
You'll want to keep following the Facebook feed for Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, as the page is currently sharing several virtual Home Safaris.
Who knows, you might just spot your favorite animal and get to observe an up-close virtual stream of feeding time!
