I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
It’s good to be a kid in Ohio. In addition to themed playgrounds and amazing attractions, our state is also home to some super cool, next-level toy stores. There’s the Coolest Toys On Earth in Mariemont, and Big Fun in Cleveland. But in Cincinnati, King Arthur’s Court Toys is a castle-themed store that might just be the most royally awesome toy store in Ohio!
You know the saying about being a "kid in a candy store?" Well, Ohio youngsters can be something even better:
But it's not just an epic selection that sets King Arthur's Court apart from the pack. It's the fact that, since the beginning, this Ohio toy store has made itself into a destination and experience.
A few years ago, the toy titan took its Medieval theme to the next level, converting a former basement area into an appropriately named Dungeon. The Dungeon at King Arthur’s Court is a fun and free indoor play area that truly transforms this store into a land of imagination -- but that’s not the only secret you’ll find here.
Recently, King Arthur’s added a birthday element to its already awesome experience. Artie’s
Birthday Castle is a fun perk for Ohio boys and girls, letting them be kings and queens on
their special day.
Simply visit the website and fill out the form, and on your child’s big day, they’ll receive the (literal) key to the castle, wherein parents can even have wrapped gifts waiting!
Have you been to this castle-themed toy store in Ohio? What an epic adventure for Buckeye State kids little… and big! Visit the King Arthur’s Court website for hours, specials, and more information.
