I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
I grew up in Milford, Ohio, and while I no longer call this beguiling ‘burb home, I visit often and am always delighted to discover new restaurants in the historic downtown. Padrino is one of them; while this restaurant opened in 2009, it’s the kind of fan-favorite spot that feels as though it’s been around forever… in all the best ways.
It’s difficult to remember what downtown Milford was like before Padrino opened up, and hopefully, that’s a scenario we’ll never have to encounter! No matter where you live in Ohio, this small-town restaurant is worth a visit… and sure to become one of your favorite spots to dine.
