I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.

There’s something very special about the small town of Granville, Ohio, a place where buttoned-up New England influence meets Midwest sensibility. A planned community in the heart of the Buckeye State, Granville was founded in 1805 by people from the town of Granville, Massachusetts. Today, the Ohio town celebrates its history in everything from its many plaques and statues to its historic homes and longstanding restaurants… including The Granville Inn, one of the nicest restaurants in America and certainly one of the best restaurants in Granville Ohio. Pack your bags; this is one town and restaurant that are worth the trip.
Built in 1924, The Granville Inn is a community treasure that boasts luxurious guest rooms, an opulent ballroom, and one of the nicest fine dining restaurants in Ohio.
The historic property maintains all of its original charm and regality but with modern amenities to spoil visitors.
In 1923, John Sutphin Jones commissioned the construction of The Granville Inn in the Jacobethan Revival style on the site of the Granville Female College, which had closed its doors in 1898. Beautifully restored and renovated for guests, the Inn’s opening on June 26, 1924, was attended by as many as 5,000 people!
The hotel and restaurant are just as popular today, with diners flocking from all over to sample the cuisine.

This is quickly going to become one of your favorite restaurants.
Popular menu items include New York Strip, Fedora Salad, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Seafood Cioppino, each of which showcases the freshest and most seasonable ingredients possible.
Every detail is considered and perfect at this nice restaurant in Granville Ohio.
Of course, "fine dining" and a delicious burger and French fries are not mutually exclusive, with The Inn's house-made Granville Burger being one of the best in the Buckeye State!
