With the spring season in full swing, you’re probably excited to get out and explore. (Be sure to check out our first ever guided waterfall tour happening next month. Tickets are limited!)
The Wetland Loop Trail at Glenwood Gardens in Cincinnati is a hidden gem of a hike that most people don’t know about. Attached to a discovery park and dreamy garden, this short trail is perfect for a day hike when you need a little adventure—but nothing too strenuous. Rest in the gardens, stroll through the wetlands and stop to smell the wildflowers along the way.
Glenwood Gardens is one of Hamilton County's most unique parks. It features an outdoor discovery park for kids, beautiful gardens, a wetland trail and even a gift shop.
Note: The park is open daily from dawn until dusk.
Plan to bring the kids along, as they'll love exploring the Highfield Discovery Garden, where you'll encounter frogs, fairies, a sleeping dragon, miniature trains and beautiful gardens, of course.
From April - October, the Discovery Garden is open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon – 5 p.m.
Glenwood Gardens is located at 10397 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45215. Have you ever been here before? If so, we want to know what your experience was like!
