Tackle Box 2 in Fremont, Ohio doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s the seafood hiding on the inside that keeps locals and visitors alike coming back for more. If you let the outside fool you, you just might miss this hidden gem of an unsuspecting seafood restaurant.
Tucked away along the Sandusky River, you'll find this quirky restaurant that's known for its excellent perch and walleye.
It's located at 420 Sandusky Ave., Fremont, OH 43420. (Note: Although you can't see the restaurant's building from the road, the sign is visible from Sandusky Avenue.)
Upon arrival, you'll notice some tropical, fun decor that seems to welcome you to a riverside oasis, rather than a restaurant.
With the freshest fish around and a whimsical atmosphere, it's a popular restaurant for locals and visitors alike. The wait time can be a little long, but it's worth it.
