Take This Road Trip To The 7 Most Eye-Popping Lavender Fields In Ohio
Seasonal road trips can make the best road trips.
Here in Ohio, we have an abundance of beautiful lavender farms. They’re some of the most peaceful places in the state and they make excellent day trip destinations. Below, we’ve compiled a trip that leads to our seven favorite lavender farms in Ohio. Opening times vary for each farm, but many are open to the public in late May or early June.

The total trip clocks in at a little over 6 hours of drive time, with the destinations split pretty evenly between the southwest portion of the state and the northeast portion. Tucked away in a small town in southwest Ohio, you'll find this peaceful oasis. During late spring, summer and fall, u-pick is available for visitors for a small fee. It's a lovely, refreshing way to spend the day. The farm is also known for its exciting Summer Solstice Lavender Festivals.

Open for lavender picking the first week of June, this lovely farm also features an onsite shop. It's the perfect place to find dried lavender and fine lavender products. Additionally, wreath-making and group tours are available.

Featuring more than one mile of vibrant lavender plants, you'll encounter eight different species at this serene farm. It opens for the season on June 25, 2021 and will be open daily from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

A fifth-generation family farm in Stark County, this gorgeous lavender farm is perfect for both u-pick and outdoor yoga. Follow the Sandy Creek Ventures Facebook page to find out when this special farm officially opens for the season.

In addition to fresh-picked lavender, you'll find in season produce, flowers and other goods at this beloved country store and garden. While the market is open year-round, you'll have to wait until June for the lavender to be ready.

This beloved local farm stretches across 48 acres, but the display gardens cover about 2 and a half acres. Luvin Lavender Farm features about 6,000 plants total with multiple varieties, some of which are rare to northeast Ohio. You can visit the farm on Thursday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., beginning in May.
