What are some other places for outdoor ice skating in Ohio?
Fifty West isn't the only place offering outdoor ice skating in Southwest Ohio! Each year the winter season rolls around, Cincinnati's Fountain Square transforms into an ice rink. It's a winter wonderland of Christmas lights and family fun, and a longstanding holiday tradition in Ohio. The UC Health Ice Rink presented by Fifth Third Bank is open seven days a week from November though February, and it's not just ice skating that attracts folks to this outdoor rink in Ohio. Ice bumper cars are a recent addition to the fun, and they're every bit as awesome as you'd imagine! Ice bumper cars take the concept of regular old bumper cars to a whole other level. If you're a fan of both bumper cars and ice skating, this is a super fun combination. It's the perfect option for those who can't ice skate but want to get out on the ice and risk having a "Bambi" moment! Just grab a friend or two and hit the ice -- or each other. Talk about fun!
Cincinnati isn't the only Ohio city with an amazing outdoor ice skating rink. In Cleveland, Crocker Park Skating Rink is a fan favorite; each year, locals also look forward to the opening of this outdoor rink, which is presented by the Cleveland Monsters. Located in Union Square near Nordstrom Rack and Regal Cinema, this spot offers a fun way to slip, slide, and glide your way into a season of fun! And with the massive Christmas tree visible from the rink, you might just think you've discovered Ohio's very own winter wonderland. We also adore the ice skating rink at Cleveland's Public Square. This spectacular outdoor ice skating rink was opened by the Cleveland Foundation in November of 2016, much to the delight of locals. This attraction, as you can imagine, makes the perfect addition to our wintertime cityscape. Located in the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Plaza, this rink is located centrally to all of Cleveland's loveliest monuments and buildings, and is sure to make your heart swell with love for this beautiful Ohio town!
