- Sweetgum Trail, Columbus, OH: If you are looking for a great trail for dog walking or biking, this 2.3-mile paved loop trail in Walnut Woods Metropark is beautiful with sections of towering trees lining the trail. Walnut Woods is a short distance from Columbus, so you can take a break from your busy day and enjoy a walk in nature. The trail is one year-round.
