Western Ohio Is Home To Some Of The Best Burgers And Hiking Trails In The State And This Day Trip Proves It
As the weather warms up, we all want to spend more time outdoors admiring the gorgeous surroundings we are blessed with here in the Buckeye state. If you’re looking to get out and enjoy nature and grab a bite to eat, we’ve got a great pairing for you that won’t even use a whole tank of gas!
Kendrick Woods Loop Trail is one of the most popular trails in the state, and with good reason. The trail is pretty simple to get through, and you’re surrounded by gorgeous forest. At 2.5 miles, it’s just long enough to be a bit of a workout without being too exhausting.
By the time you’ve finished the trail, you’re certain to have worked up an appetite! Time to head to Kewpee Hamburgers, a staple of the Ohio dining scene for decades. There are several locations in Ohio, but the closest one to Kendrick Woods is about 10 miles away. Check out the routes on Google Maps, and you’ll see it’s an easy 15-20 minute drive, though with traffic it may take a little longer.
In a different part of Ohio? Don’t worry, we have several other fun day trips planned for you in other areas of the state!
View the menu and check out all the locations on the Kewpee Hamburgers website.
Either destination would make for a great day all on their own, so combine the two into one afternoon and you’ve got a perfect pairing on your hands!
