Antiquing is such a fun way to spend an afternoon – it’s like taking a step back in time without even leaving a store. If you live in western Ohio, you are blessed with access to Jeffrey’s Antique Gallery, one of the largest antique vendors in Ohio! You’re sure to get hungry after walking around Jeffrey’s 38,000 square feet, so head right up the road to Dietsch Brothers Fine Chocolates & Ice Cream. Dietsch Brothers actually has two locations in Findlay, but the main store is only about five miles from Jeffrey’s, so you’ll have an afternoon of fun without even going through a full tank of gas! Check out the route at Google Maps.
Jeffrey's is located just off the highway and advertises itself as Ohio's largest antique shop. More than 300 dealers are set up in the sprawling 38,000-square-foot facility.
Jeffrey's has an incredible selection of items to fit any taste. Whether you're a collector, love browsing, or are looking to redecorate with some pre-loved furniture, the mall is sure to have something for you.
Staff will be happy to store your potential purchases up at the front or provide any assistance with moving heavy items or unlocking objects from glass cases.
Jeffrey's prides itself on being wheelchair-accessible and pet-friendly. The mall is extremely spacious and very well-organized. You'll almost definitely walk out with more than you intended to purchase, but it's tough not to with all these wares on display!
Jeffrey's is open 362 days a year. You can find more information about Jeffrey's and their sister antique store in Springfield on their website.
Just up the road from Jeffrey's is the absolutely phenomenal Dietsch Brothers! The charming old-fashioned ice cream parlor has been in Findlay for nearly a century, and it's easy to see why when you taste their delicious sweets.
Dietsch's ice cream is handmade each day and comes in more than 60 different flavors. Their seasonal favorites like blueberry waffle cone and watermelon sherbet are especially popular. You can even take a pre-packaged pint home with you!
One popular item Dietsch sells is a sampler box of 16 ice cream balls. You can get them in a specific flavor, or choose a variety pack of the most popular flavors they have in stock. They also offer milkshakes, sundaes, and malts.
Dietsch Brothers sells more than 90 varieties of chocolate and other delicious treats. Their menu changes throughout the year depending on the season. You'll feel like a kid in a candy store checking out all the delicious items they have for sale!
