Big Creek begins in the highlands near Chardon, Ohio. Flowing through hardwood forests, hemlock ravines, and commanding rocky ledges, it joins the Grand River near Painesville. The rock formations along the banks are dramatic and beautiful, providing a glimpse into the area's geologic history and past.

Beautiful all year round, this 63-acre park has some lovely hiking trails filled with flora and fauna that feel like Middle Earth during the verdant days of spring and summer.
