I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
There’s nothing that evokes a feeling of nostalgia like an ice cream truck. The whimsical music, colorful decor, and epic menus combine to create the ultimate summertime experience. In Central Ohio, there’s a family-run ice cream truck that’s the epitome of good, old-fashioned fun. It’s called Little Ladies Soft Serve, and it’s an Ohio ice cream truck sure to take you back to your childhood in the most delicious way.
As a kid, was there anything better than the sound of an ice cream truck coming through the neighborhood -- the calypso music beckoning, along with the promise of a frozen treat?
Little Ladies Soft Serve first hit the streets of Central Ohio in the summer of 2018. It's owned by Lydia and Will Chambers, who bought an old postal service truck up in Michigan, drove it back to Ohio, renovated it, and began dishing up a menu of incredible soft serve.
You'll find everything from classic, no-frills soft serve cones and cups to next-level sundaes and even sundae flights, the latter of which features *three* mini sundaes.
Feeling classic? There's nothing quite like a good, old-fashioned vanilla cone. Little Ladies even has a $2 Tuesday special where you can grab a classic cone for just two bucks, too!
In Central Ohio, there's no better sight than the pastel-colored Little Ladies Soft Serve truck. In just a few short years, it's become a beloved local staple and easily the best ice cream truck in Ohio!
