Picture a sweet place where you can enjoy a step back in time; a real-life historic village (is that an oxymoron?) that's an easy day trip from pretty much anywhere in Ohio.

When you get hungry from exploring, break for a meal at Barn Restaurant, Sauder Village's very own casual dining spot. There is also a delightful bakery in the "downtown" area that makes amazing homemade pies.
The fun doesn't have to stop at the end of the day, either. On-site accommodations include the Sauder Heritage Inn, a beautiful country lodge, as well as a brand-new 87-site campground complete with RV hookups, a bathhouse, and access to the inn's pool.
History isn't something that's relegated to the past; rather, it's continually unfolding as we live and breathe. Sauder Village is a place that celebrates history, and invites guests to come and live it in the most delightful way!
