Winter in Ohio can be really beautiful. You don’t always have to stay cooped up, avoiding the cooler temperatures, fallen snow and sparkling icicles. Sometimes you need to get out and embrace the season for a bit. An easy, short hike is a great way to do so. The Hemlock Loop Trail at Bedford Reservation within the Cleveland Metroparks system makes the perfect winter adventure. It’s both easy and beautiful. Bundle up, grab your camera and check out this local favorite northeast Ohio hike that’s positively bewitching in the winter months.
The Hemlock Creek Picnic Area and trailhead is located right off of Button Road in Bedford Reservation, just east of Dunham Road in Walton Hills. Have you ever hiked this trail in the winter before? If so, share your photos and experiences with us!
