Here in Ohio, there’s a little-known quarry that locals like to call a little slice of heaven. Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio is a family-owned and operated park that features a stunningly beautiful quarry where you can swim, scuba, snorkel, camp and more. It truly is a little piece of paradise. A beach day here is simply unforgettable.

Hiding in Portgage County, there's a little-known park where it's seemingly always sunny and the spring-fed water is an unparalleled shade of deep blue.
On non-festival weekdays, day passes to swim are $5 for ages 4-14 and $10 for ages 15 and up. Ages 0 -3 are free. During non-festival weekends, day passes are $6 for ages 4-14 and $12 for ages 15 and up.
You can also make a weekend out of it and camp. Non-festival camping rates per night for ages 15 and up are $15 per night and ages 4 - 14 are $10 for the entire weekend.
