And just wait until you see the view!
When it comes to hidden natural attractions in Ohio, Natural Cave belongs at the top of your list. This beautiful cave tucked away in the woods is sure to impress!
The trail, which is a bridle trail but also open to hikers, is blazed white and will follow a long stream. Hikers should note that this trail is notoriously muddy, so be sure to wear the appropriate shoes!

About a mile into the hike, you'll notice a rock outcropping up on a hill. This is where the cave is located, and you'll have to find the not-so-well-marked trail that leads you up there.
Head up the hill and take a right once you reach the base of the outcropping. From there, the blazes will become more noticeable, and you'll soon notice Chapel Cave on your right.
Once you've reached the cave, be sure to take time to notice its unique colorings and formation. There's something positively mesmerizing about these ancient rocks!
