Spring time is a great time to chase waterfalls. Fortunately, the Buckeye State is home to plenty of gorgeous, little-known waterfalls that aren’t too hard to find. Hayden Falls Park in Dublin features a truly unique natural ecosystem, rare plants and animals and a 35-foot waterfall along the western shore of the Scioto River. It’s the perfect place to visit when you want to get away in nature without having to hike very far.
If you’ve ever heard rumors about an enchanting, emerald-hued waterfall hiding in Columbus, you should know it really does exist—and it’s calling your name.
But even in the wintertime, the falls are a beautiful sight to behold.
