Here in Ohio, we have some pretty epic foods that you just can’t find anywhere else. The following are 7 foods that you likely grew up eating if you’ve lived here all your life—and you likely still crave them to this day.

Usually made around the holidays, this signature homemade Ohio candy is downright mouthwatering to peanut butter and chocolate lovers. As kids, these made Reese's Cups look like a joke.

When you're on the road and you want a tasty burger, (without all the grease), nothing compares to the original Big Boy. McDonald's and Burger King don't hold a candle to this Ohio classic.

Spaghetti noodles, heaps of shredded cheddar cheese and chili with a hint of cinnamon come together to create this interesting dish. The Cincinnati area's Skyline Chili chain challenges the norm, and many (though not all) find it delicious.

If the 3-way isn't your preference, Skyline's cheese conies (topped with the signature chili, onions, mustard and mounds of cheese) are an excellent alternative.

No matter what anyone tries to tell you, we started the genius frosty-french-fry-combo creation—just like we started the beloved fast food chain itself. (And watching adults do this was a game changer.)

There's no bologna like Troyer's Trail Bologna. A fried Trail bologna sandwich with Swiss cheese really hits the spot. This dish is particularly popular in Holmes, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties.
