Calling all Buckeye State foodies! There's a brand-new food festival happening this summer in Columbus, Ohio, that promises to take folks on an unforgettable journey to Flavortown!
The event is called Guy Fieri's Flavortown Fest, and it's happening for the first time June 1-2, 2024, at the Lawn at CAS, located at 2540 Olentangy River Rd. in Columbus, Ohio.
Hailed as the "Mayor of Flavortown," Guy Fieri is a culinary icon known for his larger-than-life persona, bleached 'do, and unabashed passion for food. Fun fact: Fieri was born in Columbus, Ohio!
His hit show, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" visits the country's tastiest venues, including dozens in the Buckeye State, like Melt Bar & Grilled Restaurant in Lakewood and Blue Ash Chili in Cincinnati.
So it goes without saying that Flavortown Fest will feature the tastiest, most creative and craveworthy dishes. The lineup is still being finalized, but folks can expect an array of local eateries as well as some of the nation’s top chefs, including, of course, The Mayor himself.
In addition to food, Flavortown Fest has an impressive lineup of live performers, including Greta Van Fleet (pictured), Kane Brown, Bret Michels, and Niko Moon.
Two-days tickets are available on the website now, and portions of proceeds from every ticket sold will support various charities in and around the Columbus area, with a focus on first responders and veterans. (Backwards sunglasses and bleached tips aside, Fieri is known for his generous spirit and philanthropy.)
