Did you know that Fairfield County is the Scarecrow Capital of Ohio? This fall, you’ll get a chance to see why. The Fairfield County Trail of Scarecrows features more than 200 scarecrow displays, spooky events and other fall fun throughout the month of October. If you’re looking for a fun drive to take this fall with the family, this themed trail is perfect for just that.
Known for its charming covered bridges and beautiful fall foliage, Fairfield County is a special place to be during the autumn season.
From now until October 31, several towns in Fairfield County will display hundreds of scarecrows outside businesses and homes to celebrate the fall season.

Towns participating in the Scarecrow Trail include Lancaster, Sugar Grove, Millersport, Bremen, Pickerington, Lithopolis, Baltimore, Amanda and Carroll.

Additionally, there are several fall themed events happening throughout the county during the month of October. From pumpkin hikes and farm mazes to ghost tours and halloween parties, there's plenty of both family-friendly and spooky fun.
