I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
The Buckeye State is filled with a bevy of towns both big and small, each with their own unique identity, culture, and history. Those looking for a European-inspired slice of small town life in Ohio can visit places like Sugarcreek, Dublin, and German Village, of course, but these towns aren’t the only places that provide a “trip across the pond” to visitors. Just north of Cincinnati, Mariemont is a delightful little European-inspired village with a thoughtful (and walkable) layout, tons of Tudor-revival architecture, and glorious gardens and greenspaces.
Have you had the pleasure of visiting this European-inspired village in Ohio? Beautiful all year-round, Mariemont is a charming little locale teeming with Old World vibes and charm.
